What is CSR

Certificate Signing Request (CSR) is the encrypted file, based on the self-signed created, Once we are done with generating the CSR file we need to send this file to any CA vendor and they will sign the certificate and provide us the root , intermediate .

Creating JKS

keytool -genkey -alias <Alias Name> -keyalg RSA -keypass <Password> -keystore <JKS name.jks> -storepass <Password>

Generating CSR file

keytool -certreq -alias sfdc -keyalg RSA -file <FileName.csr> -keystore <JKS name.jks>

Importing CA signed certificate

keytool -import -file  <CA signed certificate> -alias <Alias Name> -keystore  <JKS name.jks> -storepass <Password>

Importing Trusted Certificate

keytool -import -trustcacerts -alias <Alias Name>  -file <certificate>  -keystore <JKS name.jks> -storepass <Password>
